Jocelyn Cortez Young

Ms. Cortez Young is the Founder and Managing Partner of Minerva Capital Group, a private equity and late-stage venture firm focused on technology-enabled businesses and mission-aligned innovation. She is also the Chief Investment and Operating Officer of 21W, the family office of Tim Reynolds, co-founder of Jane Street Capital. Ms. Cortez Young is a member of the Investment Committee for both entities and plays an active leadership role in governance, portfolio construction, and organizational design.

Ms. Cortez Young has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, structured finance, and derivatives investing. She has closed over $3.5 billion in transactions across capital markets, private credit, and direct equity, spanning sectors from fintech and health tech to clean infrastructure and aviation. Prior to founding Minerva, Ms. Cortez Young was a Director at Citibank and held investment roles at Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs.
